All the songs releasing from the film are turning out to be great hits. After the success of Bekhayali and Tujhe Kitna Chahne Lage, the markers have released yet another number titled Mere Sohneya. It features Shahid and Kiara in a full bloom of romance.
The song is refreshing, sweet, melodious and basically the perfect song for the upcoming monsoon season.
The song is sung and composed by sachet and Parampara. The filmmakers went for a new talent instead of the singers and musicians already shuffling in the industry. The lyrics of the song is written by Irshad Kamil who has done a wonderful job as always.

The film is a Hindi remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy. The movie stars Shahid who is essaying the role of a medical student. Kabir Singh is helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and it will hit the theatres on June 21.
