Kalka is a town in Panchkula district, it is a part of Ambala Lok Sabha constituency. The current MLA of Kalka is Latika Sharma of Bharatiya Janata Party.
In the 2014 Haryana Vidhan Sabha (Haryana Legislative Assembly) Elections, Latika Sharma of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated INLD candidate Pardeep Chaudhary, who was the sitting MLA, by nearly 19 thousand votes. Sharma polled 50347 votes to Chaudhary’s 31320.
