Candidates must meet the admission standards established by both KEA and their specific institutions to qualify for professional courses. The centralised counselling process for seat allocation will include the following steps:

  • Online registration
  • Document verification
  • Choice filling
  • Seat allotment rounds

KCET 2026 Rank List and Merit Preparation

KEA will publish the KCET 2026 merit list along with the results. The merit list will be prepared primarily based on candidates’ performance in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects, depending on the course applied for.

For Engineering courses, the rank is determined using a 50:50 weightage formula. KEA combines:

50% weightage from marks obtained by candidates in the KCET entrance exam.

50% weightage from 2nd PUC (Class 12) theory marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).

If 12th-grade marks (for CBSE/ICSE students) is not available during initial processing, the rank may be marked as “Withheld”. Students will have to upload their marksheet on official KEA portal once the link for mark entry is activated.
