Bengaluru: Karnataka Revenue Minister R Ashok’s son involved in hit and run case in Hospet in Bellary on Monday, reports are stating that two people were killed. One of the people killed was the co-passenger in the hasty Mercedes, while the other person was a man in a tea stall on the road.

The Karnataka Minister had a word with media in which he said that the police is examining the incident. He added to it that it would not be right to comment on this matter. He also said that the police will examine the event thoroughly and there were about 200 people present at the moment when the accident took place.

The incident came into highlight right after two other accidents involving sons of VVIPs in Karnataka were on the heels.

On the late evening of Sunday, Mohd. Nalapad, the son of a Congress MLA, was driving a speeding Bentley which struck an auto and a bike and caused injuries to two people. Nalapad denied that he was driving the Bentley and said that he was sitting in the Lamborghini which was parked in front at the time of the accident.

Joint Commissioner of Traffic Police, Gowda claimed that he was driving the car at the moment and they have evidence of him being at the wheel. Nalapad surrendered to the police but still claims that he wasn’t driving Bentley.
