The news of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif reuniting after a whopping seven years made all their fans dance with joy and thanks to Rohit Shetty for bringing them together for the umpteenth time. Yes, Katrina Kaif will be seen romancing Akshay Kumar in Sooryavanshi and the shooting of the film has kick-started in Mumbai. But little did we know that not Akshay Kumar but his wifey, Twinkle Khanna is what makes Katrina Kaif nervous! That’s right you read it right! The actress turned writer/twitter influencer is formidable for sure, but little did we know she would make hubby Akki’s co-actors nervous.
At a recent awards function, when Katrina bagged an award for her sense of style, Katrina’s speech was all about Twinkle Khanna, who too, was present at the ceremony. Katrina said, “Thank you so much for this award. The only thing that I was thinking when I came here tonight was, ‘I really hope that Twinkle is not in the room because she really makes me nervous.’ She gives the best speeches because she is just the funniest person. I just want to say… Sorry, it has got nothing to do with my award, but I just want to say that I love you, I think you are absolutely the best because you are so authentic.” Well, we don’t quite blame you because such is Twinkle Khanna’s sense of cominc timing that she is indeed the funniest person so much so that often, she leaves Akshay too speechless.
Prior to Sooryavanshi, Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar were seen in Anees Bazmee’s Singh Is Kinng, Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Namastey London and Anees Bazmee’s Welcome. Talking about Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar will be seen as Veer Sooryavanshi, chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad and Ajay Devgn’s Bajirao Singham and Ranveer Singh’s Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba will also make special appearances in the film. Sooryavanshi will hit the screens on Eid 2020. It is slated to make a box-office clash with Salman Khan’s Inshallah.
