Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) chief K Chandrasekhar Rao will take oath as Chief Minister in a ceremony to be held at 1:30 pm at the Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad on Thursday. The timing of oath has been decided by the priest of KCR.
Sources close to TRS said that some ministers are also likely to take oath along with the Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao.
KCR led TRS has won 88 seats out of 119 state assembly seats a 3/4th mandate and the party has increased its tally of seats and managed to win 25 more seats than the previous assembly.
The newly elected TRS legislators are expected to meet later in the day to elect KCR as their leader at Telangana Bhavan.
