Kerala Election Results 2026: Kerala’s 2026 Assembly election is getting close, and a few seats have turned into very big fights. The state is seeing a tough three-way contest between the ruling LDF, the UDF, and the BJP-led NDA. Results are due on May 4, and the focus is not just on who wins one seat, but on what the full election mood looks like across Kerala.
Dharmadam is one of the most watched places because Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is contesting there. That makes the seat a direct test of his strength and of the LDF’s hold in north Kerala. Paravur is also under a bright light because Opposition Leader V. D. Satheesan is in the race there, so the seat is being read as a sign of how strong the UDF really is.

Sivankutty, BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar, and Congress candidate K. S. Sabarinadhan in the field. Palakkad is also shaped like a triangle, with Sobha Surendran for the BJP, Ramesh Pisharody for the UDF, and N. M. R. Razack in the mix.
Vattiyoorkavu is another tense seat. The fight there is between V. K. Prasanth of the LDF, K. Muraleedharan of the Congress, and former DGP R. Sreelekha for the BJP. The capital seat of Thiruvananthapuram is also being watched closely, with LDF’s Sudheer Karamana, UDF’s C. P. John, and NDA’s Karamana Jayan in a multi-corner fight.

Swing Seats
Pala is one of the seats where family name and local hold matter a lot. Jose K. Mani is trying to bring the seat back into his side’s grip, while Mani C. Kappan is defending it and BJP’s Shone George makes it a three-way contest.
Manjeshwaram is also a very tight seat, with K. Surendran going up against sitting IUML MLA A. K. M. Ashraf and CPI(M)’s K. R. Jayananda. Thrissur is being treated as a very uncertain seat too, with the LDF, UDF, and NDA all pushing hard there.
