LIC Policy Revival Campaign 2025: The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has started a special campaign across the country to help people bring back their lapsed insurance policies. This campaign will run for two months, from August 18 to October 17, 2025. It covers individual policies that have stopped because of missed payments, but are still allowed to be revived under the rules.

Benefits and fee concessions
LIC is giving big relief to policyholders during this time. People who revive their policy can get a discount on late fees, up to 30 percent, with a maximum benefit of ₹5,000 depending on the premium size. For very small micro insurance plans, LIC has decided not to charge any late fees at all, so policyholders will get a 100 percent waiver.
LIC explained that policies can only be revived if they are still within five years from the first missed premium date. The policy must also be active within the payment term and should not be matured already, reported BT. At the same time, people who want to revive their policy still need to clear the normal medical and health checks, as no changes will be given in that part.
Aims of the campaign
The company said that many people face financial or personal troubles and fail to pay premiums on time, so this campaign is made to give them another chance. LIC reminded policyholders that keeping a policy alive is very important.

As LIC mentioned in its release, “Policies must be kept in force to ensure full insurance benefits. Reviving an old policy not only restores insurance cover but also strengthens financial security for families.”
The campaign is meant to encourage families to continue their coverage so they can stay protected in the future. LIC has asked everyone to use this short time offer and bring back their old policy to make sure their loved ones remain safe.
