Fresh showers in the region brought a huge amount relief from the scorching heat and humidity in the National Capital Region on Tuesday. Light drizzle was witnessed in parts of Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad.
On Monday, Delhi witnessed sultry weather and it continued till Tuesday with a temperature of 38 degree Celsius, two notches above normal for the season with ‘sticky’ conditions due to the high humidity.
The Met had earlier predicted a fresh spell of showers from July 11 to July 13. The peak weather activity is likely to occur on Wednesday.
Humid conditions dominated weather in the NCR with the possibility of rain and thundershowers in the evening.
