Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke actor Sameer Sharma has allegedly committed suicide at his home in Mumbai. As per a report in Mid-day, the night duty watchman saw the body and informed the people and the police came to the spot. The COVID-19 tally in India rose to 19,64,536 on Thursday after over 56,000 fresh cases were reported within 24 hours. Suspected militants on Thursday shot dead a BJP Sarpanch in Vessu village of Qazigund block in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district. Official sources told news agency GNS the militants fired upon the Sarpanch identified as Sajad Ahmad Khanday near his residence, leaving him critically injured.
This is the second such attack in less than 48 hours in south Kashmir. BJP Panch Arif Ahmad was critically wounded after militants fired at him in Akhran Qazigund on the evening of August 4.
