The first time I heard these lines “Milke bichadna dastoor ho gaya, yaadon mein teri mein jo dur hogya” from the popular song ‘O Sanam’, I knew it would stay with me forever. Not because it was something new which was said but it couldn’t have delivered to me more beautifully. Yes, the man behind these words, the man whose voice evokes nostalgia in us is none other than Lucky Ali.
Lucky Ali is an inspiration to many and his melodious voice is something which you can’t get over your mind and heart. The pop icon of the 90’s is someone who is underrated for a long time. I think the problem is that these days every worthwhile thing is not much appreciated and that’s the reason it creates a missing spot.
While the singer has been away from the music industry but he never fails to treat his fans with performances and gigs. No matter how many times Bollywood failed to acknowledge the talented singer, he with his evergreen charm still continues to rule the hearts of many.
It’s been 9 years since ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ released but the song ‘Hairat’ from the movie still gives me goosebumps.
