Solar and Lunar eclipse is the only eclipse that a being can witness on Earth. Eclipse takes place when one heavenly or solar body moves into the shadow of another heavenly body. For some people, this eclipse is considered an auspicious occasion but for others, it clearly isn’t.

To further simplify, lunar and solar eclipse are events when 3 celestial bodies form or are aligned in a straight line. A lunar eclipse happens when Earth gets in the way of the sun’s light hitting the moon. A solar eclipse happens when the moon gets in the way of the sun’s light and casts its shadow on Earth.
