The Madhya Pradesh assembly has been adjourned till March 26 amid demand from the opposition that Kamal Nath government must go for a floor test as it doesn’t have the numbers.
Governor Lalji Tandon on Sunday directed the Speaker to conduct a floor test on Monday (today), however, in a letter to the Governor, CM Kamal Nath conveyed it to him that he is ready for the floor test but it cannot be conducted until MLAs are held captive.
He also said that the Governor shouldn’t interfere as it was up to the Speaker as to when a floor test has to be held.
