Majili helmed by Shiva Nirvana stars Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles and the film has finally hit the theatre today. The film’s title Majili means ‘A part of Journey’. Apart from them, the film also stars debutant from Delhi Divyansha Kaushik. Ever since the trailer of the film was released, it has made the fans curious and fans are expecting a lot from the romantic sports drama.
The film was released today and it is surely a hit amongst the fans already courtesy its hit music and power packed performances by the actors in the film. The leads of the film are being appreciated a lot for their performances.
The story is based on Naga Chaitanya who essays a role of an alcoholic ex-cricketer who is married to the woman named Shravani (Samantha Akkineni) but is still in love with ex-girlfriend Anshu (Divyansha Kaushik). his wife is ready to sacrifice anything for her husband but he does not care for her. Will he realize his mistake of breaking her heart? This is what keeps us hooked to the movie until the end.
The movie is highly lauded by the fans and Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya has acted thrice before as a couple and delivered classic hits but this is the first the film that the couple has done post their marriage. Now it seems that this film is another big thing for them this time too.
Majili has good productions. Gopi Sunder-composed songs are breezy, but they are overshadowed by SS Thaman’s background Score. Picturization and dialogues are the other attractions on the technical front.
Majili is produced by Harish Peddi and it also stars Subba Raju, Posani Krishna Murali and Ramesh Rao in pivotal roles.
