Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the kidnap and alleged molestation of a famous Malayalam actor, was arrested by Kerala Police as he tried to surrender to the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) of Ernakulam. Another accused in the case, Vijeesh, also surrendered to the ACJM.

According to multiple media reports, Pulsar Suni rushed into the ACJM court on Thursday afternoon and declared that he was surrendering. But the judge was not in the chamber. So, the police arrested Suni and took him away in a car. Police was unable to trace Suni for 6 days after the incident.

Pulsar Suni had also applied for anticipatory bail and claimed in the application that he had been implicated in the case. The Kerala High Court had deferred his anticipatory bail plea to 3 March, The News Minute reported.

Few days ago, the actor was allegedly abducted and then molested in a moving car. She was travelling to dubbing studio from her home when a group of unidentified men stepped into her car and allegedly abducted her.

Kerala police had registered case against the accused under under Sections 366 (kidnapping), 376 (rape) of IPC and Section 66 of the IT Act.
