Man Dies After Taking Sex-Enhancing Medicine:According to police officials, a 29-year-old man died inside his rented room in Gurugram Haryana after taking too much of a sexual performance drug which he intended to use before meeting his fiance. The incident has triggered fresh concerns about the growing misuse of performance-enhancing pills, especially those bought without medical supervision.

The deceased person has been identified as Rohit Lal who originated from Nagpur and worked at the Quality Council of India which operates from New Delhi. He was staying in a paying guest accommodation in Sector 53, Gurugram.
Police said the case surfaced on Thursday morning when Lal’s co-worker alerted authorities after repeated phone calls went unanswered. The colleague reportedly told officers that the two regularly travelled to work together, but that day Lal neither responded to calls nor opened the door.
Police had to force their way into the building because they needed access to the room. Lal was found lying motionless on the bed.
Investigators found medicine wrappers and health supplement wrappers during their first examination of the room. Officials suspect that Lal may have consumed a sex-enhancing drug in excess which could have triggered a cardiac event.
A senior officer involved in the investigation stated that preliminary results show Lal invited his fiancée to visit him but he passed away before her scheduled arrival.
Exact Cause of Death Awaiting Forensic Report
“We sent viscera and the recovered medicines to FSL for testing. The exact cause of death will be revealed only after the viscera report is received. We are investigating all aspects,” Sector 53 SHO Satender Rawal said.
The Forensic Science Laboratory is currently conducting tests on the retrieved medications and the body organ samples from the case.
