Maruti Suzuki Car Prices Increase: Maruti Suzuki India said on May 21, 2026 that it will raise prices across its full vehicle range by up to ₹30,000 from June 2026. The company said the move comes because input costs keep rising and the cost situation has turned tougher. The increase will not be the same for every model. It will change depending on which car a buyer picks.

What the Company told to Dealers?

In its message to dealers and other stakeholders, Maruti Suzuki said: “You are kindly informed that in view of the sustained increase in input costs, the Company has decided to increase the prices of its models across its portfolio by up to ₹30,000 with effect from June 2026,” The company also said it has been trying for months to soften the blow through internal savings, better efficiency, and cost control. Even so, it said inflation has stayed high, so part of the extra cost will now be passed on to the market.

Why this is Important

This price move comes at a time when car makers across India are facing the same stormy weather. Commodity prices are higher, logistics is costlier, and running factories is not getting any cheaper. That has pushed several automakers to make smaller but steady price hikes instead of one giant jump. Maruti Suzuki’s latest step fits that pattern.

For buyers, the message is simple. Cars from Maruti Suzuki will cost more from June 2026, and the exact increase will depend on the model. Anyone planning to buy soon may see the old prices disappear once the new month begins
