Milan Talkies song released: 'Bakaiti' introduces Ali Fazal's character in movie

Tigmanshu Dhulia and Ali Fazal starrer ‘Milan Talkies’ is set to release on 15th March 2019. ‘Bakaiti’ is the first song of the movie which was released on YouTube by Zee  Music Company. The song which has been sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Benny Dayal introduces the character played by Ali Fazal in the movie.

Milan Talkies directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and Produced by Mr PS Chhatwal, Filmy Keeda Productions in association with producer Om Prakash Bhatt under Purple Bull Entertainment banner.

Another thing that attracts the viewers is the star cast of the film which includes  Ali Fazal, Shraddha Srinath, Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Mishra, Reecha Sinha and Sikandar Kher in the pivotal roles.

The song plays on this theme of a stubborn young man following his dream at all costs. The theme of ‘Bakaiti’ is a mockery of the insult that people often throw in the way of dreamers, calling their ambition ‘tall tales’. Music and lyrics are given by Rana Mazumder and Amitabh Bhattacharya respectively.

Here, is the song- ‘Bakaiti’:

Ali Fazal fits the role of the small town guy. The lead actress, Shraddha Srinath, who had earlier debuted in a Kannada movie, looks pretty in the trailer.

The movie also stars Sikander Kher, Ashutosh Rana who is well known for his negative roles and Sanjay Mishra. The surprise element that adds up is seeing the director Tigmanshu Dhulia act in the movie, essaying the role of Ali Fazal’s father.

Here’s the movie trailer:

The unknown fact about the movie is that Milan Talkies was conceptualized years ago, it is inspired by the director Tigmanshu Dhulia and the movie went actor to actor. Initially, it was offered to Imran Khan and later Sidharth Malhotra’s name also came into light.
