Miss World 2021: This is the 70th edition of the Miss World beauty pageant, which was scheduled to be held at the end of 2019. But as we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world very badly and lots of people lost their lives. So it was canceled at that time.
On March 8, 2021, the Organization of Miss World Puerto Rico announced that it will host the 70th edition of Miss World, scheduled to be held on December 16, 2021. This beauty pageant began on November 21, 2021.
As per Indian Standard Time (IST), it will start at 4:30 in the early morning of 17 December. Contestants from 98 countries will participate in this beauty pageant.
The ceremony will be held at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, which is the capital of Puerto Rico, a Caribbean Island. Hyatt Residency Grand Reserve is the official resort for the grand finale.
The result of the fast track challenge like ‘Head to Head challenge’ can foretell who among the beauty queens have the best communication skills needed to become a Miss World.
Head to Head Challenge:
Eight candidates have already secured their spots in the Top 30 of the Miss World 2021 finals after topping the final stage of the Head to Head Challenge. In the final head-to-head challenge, the contestant delivered two speeches-first, they were given 2 minutes to present their “Beauty With a Purpose Project” and second, as a representative of Puerto Rico, they were given an opportunity to tell the world why everyone should come to the lovely island.
