Mobocracy continues in Rajasthan: Claims three lives

Another shocking incident of mob lynching took place in Rajasthan’s Banswara district on Saturday. Three persons from a particular community had been targeted. Victims have been identified as Shabbir Mohammed 65 years, and his two sons Sharif 40 years and Shahid 35 years of age.

Shabbir Mohamed, a resident of Indira Colony, Banswara had a dispute with Pannalal Sagda over a five feet road. Last Friday both the parties had a fight over the dispute. Shabbir got injured and his sons took him to the hospital.

Once they reached the hospital, three unidentified assailants attacked them with the rod just outside its premise. They kept hitting them unless Shabbir and his sons died. Attackers didn’t stop and they ensured their mission by using the knife. Some of their supporters were also present there on cars and bikes which help them later to flee from the spot.

The whole incident was also captured in a CCTV. As per police, some miscreants tried to give it a religious colour but their alleged attempts were foiled by the police. Internet services were immediately suspended in the area and police patrolling has been increased. Some random arsenals were also reported and police finally had to use the loudspeaker to dilute the tension between the two groups. Attackers are still on the loose and out of the police custody.
