In the cities of Bhopal, Sehore and Raisen, the preparations to take the land of Nawab of Bhopal, Hamidullah Khan have been started. The government of the state have been the process of bringing the land in question under the Ceiling Act. For this, the government had asked the collectors of the respective districts to carry out a survey of the land record as per the year 1971. As much as 800 acres of land in Bhopal is currently registered under the Nawab family.
In the first stage of acquisition of land of Raisen’s 721 acre by the government, Additional Commissioner Rajesh Jain has issued a notice to Sharmila Tagore, Saif Ali Khan, Saba and Soha Ali Khan, Bhaskar reported.
By 18th February, people to whom the notice has been issued can present their side about why when the government asked for land in 1971 under the Ceiling Act, why they did not give full information regarding the land.
Saif Ali Khan is the son of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi who was the grandson of Hamidullah Khan, the last ruling Nawab of Bhopal.
