In a rather bizarre case, cops in Madhya Pradesh‘s Shivpuri district summoned a chicken for pecking at a girl’s cheek causing bleeding.
The summon took pace on Saturday when the MP police arrested the roster along with its owner.
As per the reports, a five-year-old girl named Ritika was playing outside her home when the rooster belonging to her neighbour Pappu Jatav, pecked t her cheek.
Upon fining their daughter injured, the minor’s parents filed a complaint with the Police, acting upon which, the cops summoned Pappu along with his rooster.
The drama went on when Pappu’s wife reached the police station and requested to put her jail but leave the rooster.
She also promised a ‘house-arrest’ of the chicken. “I promise it will not roam on the road now onwards,” she said to the police.
The case was shut soon as both the sides agreed to compromise. No action was taken in the case afterwards.
