Superstitions, myths, blind faith and black magic even in 21st century takes a toll over many Indians. A shocking incident emerged where a minor girl in Bhoiwada area of Mumbai’s Parel, ended her life by practising astral travelling.
As per the may reports, 15-year-old deceased identified as Shravanani wanted to experience wilful out-of-body wherein one’s soul separates from the physical body and traverses the astral plane with intention. People often experience this state during illness or when involved in a near death experience.
The deceased family members said that the girl was watching videos related to astral projections from few days. The police too have found some videos related to Astral Travel on the girl’s phone.

Shravanani attempted the similar act before but was saved by the family members.
Police have registered a case and started investigating the matter.
Earlier also a similar case was registered in Delhi Burari area, where 11 family members lost their lives in an attempt of practising a similar activity. Handwritten notes were recovered which proved that they had decided to end their lives at their own will.
