The metro will start all its corridors at 5:00 AM on Sunday, March 1, 2026, which marks a major departure from its usual Sunday start time of 7:00 AM. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL) has announced this early start time to the public.

Under the revised schedule, metro services will operate from all terminal stations earlier in the morning. On the Purple Line, trains will depart first from Whitefield and Challaghatta.
The Green Line will see early departures from Madavara and Silk Institute, while the Yellow Line will start from Bommasandra and Rashtriya Vidyalaya (RV) Road at 5:00 AM sharp. After this early run, services will continue with the regular timetable throughout the day.
