Among many national so and so days, there is one such day that is dedicated to the little fur balls whom we call puppies. Yes, you read it right. National Puppy Day is dedicated to human’s best friend- puppies. The unconditional love that these small creatures gives us is beyond imagination and it is the most selfless kind of love.
This day is marked in a hope that people will come together for the betterment of these puppies all across the world and for the selfless love they give to the humans. The motive of the day is to aware people about more and more adoption of orphaned puppies, to educate the people about horror of puppy mills and the horrific crimes towards these little creatures.
This day was founded in 2006 by Celebrity Pet & Home Lifestyle Expert and Author, Colleen Paige who is also the founder if National Dog Day & National Cat Day.

National Puppy Day is marked on March 23 every year with the aim to focus more and more on the importance of puppies in our lives and mental health of the puppies. Colleen Paige began these celebrations concerning the pet to improve the conditions of the puppies in the society and to educate the people about importance of the pet. The day is majorly celebrated in US and over the time, this day has become international celebration thereby trending on social media. Various and events relation to it are also held worldwide.
