Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini officially announced on Tuesday that Hansi will become the state’s 23rd district, marking a significant administrative change.
The decision to elevate Hansi, previously part of the Hisar district, to district status will be confirmed by an official notification expected within a week.
This declaration follows the creation of Charkhi Dadri as the 22nd district in December 2016, highlighting the state’s ongoing efforts to promote regional development.
