NCRTC Private Events on Namo Bharat: The Namo Bharat trains are now offering something very new. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation has decided to let people book the trains and stations for private moments. The group said anyone can now use the space for birthdays, pre-wedding shoots or other small events.

The corporation said people can book a static coach or even a running train. It also shared that there is a special mock-up coach at the Duhai Depot that can be used for still shoots. The starting cost is Rs 5,000 for one hour. The booking time also gives 30 minutes extra on both sides so that people can set up or remove their decorations or lights without stress.

Simple Rules for Events Inside Trains

The group explained that every celebration must take place between 6 am and 11 pm. The events must not disturb normal train service or make things hard for daily passengers. People can bring small decorative items, but they must follow the rules made by NCRTC.

The stations on the Delhi–Meerut line like Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, and Meerut South, are open for these bookings.

It also made a hiring policy for filmmakers who want to shoot videos, ads, or documentaries inside the Namo Bharat area. The team shared that these places can be rented for a short period at what they call competitive rates.

Advertising Rights

Along with events and film shoots, the corporation has called for bids from companies that want to handle indoor and in-train ads across the whole Namo Bharat line. It said this is a chance to work with India’s first Namo Bharat system and get long-term visibility in a busy rail network.

The plan covers about 1,800 square meters of indoor ad space at stations such as Sarai Kale Khan, Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, Modinagar North, Modinagar South, Meerut Central, Begumpul, and Modipuram.

There are also digital ad screens at Sarai Kale Khan, Anand Vihar, and Ghaziabad. On top of that, the license includes ad rights inside 16 Namo Bharat trains and 9 Meerut Metro trains. Brands will be able to show ads on fixed panels, digital screens, grab handles, seat tops, glass parts, and luggage racks.

Delhi–Meerut corridor

The full Delhi–Meerut corridor stretches 82 km and runs through parts of Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut. These areas see large numbers of people every day, which means strong brand exposure. The corridor also focuses on Multi-Modal Integration for the first time. Big stations like Sarai Kale Khan and Anand Vihar connect to the Delhi Metro, Indian Railways, ISBT, and city buses.

Meerut will also get a local metro service on the same tracks, which adds more travel options. Stations like Begumpul, which work for both Namo Bharat and Meerut Metro, are close to the main markets and will bring good ad value. Since the launch in October 2023, the line has crossed about 1.88 crore passenger trips.
