NEET UG 2024 Cut-offs for Jammu and Kashmir Government Medical Colleges Revealed: On May 5, 2024, the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET UG 2024) will be administered in NEW DELHI. In provinces including Jammu and Kashmir, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will administer NEET UG counseling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats for MBBS and BDS.
The NEET UG 2024 will administer pen and paper examinations in 557 exam locations and 14 exam cities overseas. The NEET UG 2024 admit cards are awaited by nearly 25 lakh applicants. The National Medical Commission previously announced that it had removed several subjects from the NEET curriculum.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently clarified in the NEET Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that they limit deletions to subjects that are not covered in the school board curriculum nor included in the most recent NCERT textbooks. We have revised and condensed the syllabus to emphasize fundamental concepts, as stated further.
Furthermore, different state education boards have added a few subjects that are currently being covered but are not incorporated in NCERT. These state educational boards include the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, the Bihar School Education Board, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, the Nagaland Board of School Education, and the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur.
Ten cities in Jammu and Kashmir will administer the NEET UG examination: Baramulla, Kathua, Kupwara, Pulwama, Samba, Udhampur, Jammu, Srinagar, and Anantnag.
