In provinces including Jammu and Kashmir, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will administer NEET UG counseling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats for MBBS and BDS.

The NEET UG 2024 will administer pen and paper examinations in 557 exam locations and 14 exam cities overseas. The NEET UG 2024 admit cards are awaited by nearly 25 lakh applicants. The NEET UG 2024 admissions information is anticipated to be published on the official website of NEET, neet.ntaonline.in. The National Medical Commission previously announced that it had removed several subjects from the NEET curriculum.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently clarified in the NEET Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that they limit deletions to subjects that are not covered in the school board curriculum nor included in the most recent NCERT textbooks. These state educational boards include the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, the Bihar School Education Board, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, the Nagaland Board of School Education, and the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur.

Ten cities in Jammu and Kashmir will administer the NEET UG examination: Baramulla, Kathua, Kupwara, Pulwama, Samba, Udhampur, Jammu, Srinagar, and Anantnag.
