This makes it exceptionally easy to slide into a standard shirt pocket or a tightly packed laptop sleeve.
According to testing conducted by the Logitech ErgoLab, using the Mobi Fold reduces forearm muscle strain by 22% when compared directly to navigating on a standard integrated laptop trackpad.
Rugged Transitions
The engineering behind the mouse balances physical flexibility with overall durability. The central internal hinge has been certified to withstand up to 15 years of continuous daily folding. The exterior is wrapped in a dust-resistant silicone sleeve that protects the mechanical components during transport.
The physical folding action functions as the hardware’s automated power toggle, turning the mouse on immediately upon opening and shutting it off when collapsed to preserve charge.
Adaptive Touch Scrolling
In order to maintain a streamlined profile and eliminate protruding parts that catch on clothing, the design replaces the traditional mechanical scroll wheel with a centralized capacitive strip called Adaptive Touch Scrolling. This strip supports both precise line-by-line navigation and hyper-fast document scrolling. The top and bottom sections of the touch interface also serve as customizable buttons, allowing users to map specific macros, applications, or shortcuts via the Logi Options+ software.
