Good news for rail passengers! Indian Railways is preparing to introduce another Vande Bharat Express for Jharkhand. This is the state’s third semi-high speed train. These new trains have reduced the travel time of passengers by approximately 25%, enhancing the travel experience of passengers across various routes throughout the country. At present, 41 such trains run across various routes throughout the country.
Jharkhand gets new Vande Bharat Express
In this new semi-high speed train, Jharkhand will be connected with Uttar Pradesh. The train will run between Ranchi and Varanasi. On the Ranchi-Howrah and Ranchi-Patna routes, the national transporter previously launched two ultra-modern trains for the state. Since their introduction, both trains have been fully occupied.
The train is expected to arrive soon, and the train will run along the proposed route, according to a senior railway official who spoke to ETNowNews.com.
Ranchi-Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express Distance and Travel Time
The Ranchi-Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express will cover a distance of over 530 km in less than seven hours. It will be the fastest train on the route. Currently, the Ranchi-Lok Manya Tilak Express and VSKP-Banaras Express cover the same distance in 10:15 hours and 12:50 hours, respectively.

The Ranchi-Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express will reportedly stop at seven significant stations. They are Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Rajabera, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, and Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction.
Ranchi-Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express Coach Composition and Frequency
It will consist of eight coaches – one Executive AC coach and seven AC Chair cars. The train will operate six days a week, except on Thursdays.
Ranchi-Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express timings
The Ranchi-Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express is expected to depart from Jharkhand’s capital at 05:10 hrs and will arrive in Varanasi at 13:00 hrs. Upon a brief halt of more than 02:30 hours, the train is expected to depart for Ranchi at 16:05 hrs. It is expected to arrive at its destination at 23:55 hrs.
