Aamir Khan and Big ‘B’ Amitabh Bachchan’s “Thugs of Hindostan which kissed the screens on November 8, 2018 terribly received by fans and critics alike. After 7 weeks of its released in India the movie went live on theatres on China but in words of movie critic Taran Adarsh the movie “falls flat”.

In the first of its release the movie did a business of $1.51 million. while the next day the movie fared a touch better, grossing at $ 1.56 million. Vijay Krishna Acharya directed Thugs of Hindostan has Amitabh Bachcha, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The movie is an adaptation of 1839 novel by Philip Meadows Taylor titled ‘Confessions of a thug’.
After the first two weeks of the movie lead actor Aamir Khan taking the full responsibility of the movie debacle apologized for not being able to entertain to audience. Interacting with the media at Cinestaan India’s Storyteller Script Contest 2018, he had further said that, “There are people who have liked the film and we are thankful to them, but they are in a minority. Most people didn’t like our film — we are aware of that.”
