NTA warns against fake notice about JEE Main 2020 schedule being circulated on social media

Candidates are suggested to only believe the announcement and information which is being circulated through the agency’s official website (NTA).

The official notification has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 to inform all concerned candidates about fake notices about JEE mains exam schedule being circulated on social media.

Dr. Vineet Joshi, Director-General of NTA in an issued press statement and said, “It has come to the notice of NTA that a fake public notice dated April 14, 2020, has been circulating on social media regarding rescheduling of the JEE mains examination in the first week of July 2020.”

Candidates are suggested to only believe the announcement and information which is being circulated through the agency’s official website (NTA).

Therefore, candidates are advised not to get confused and be misled by such false information and fake notices.

The notice further reads “The NTA will also take strict action by filing an FIR under relevant provisions of the IT Act and IPC against those unscrupulous elements who are creating and circulating such false information to mislead the candidates.”

The candidates and their parents must only depend on the information available on the official website of NTA jeemain.nta.nic.in and www.nta.ac.in or can call at 8287471852, 8178359845, 9650173668, 9599676953 and 8882356803 for any further details.
