After since its inauguration, Delhi’s Signature Bridge has been in news, but for all the wrong reasons. The newly inaugurated bridge has been garnering negative reviews because ever since its opening to the public, some invited political controversy revolving around the bridge, while some were been seen taking dangerous selfies by climbing onto the boundary of the bridge.
Adding to the row, an obscene video shot at Signature Bridge is doing rounds on social media where a few transgenders could be seen removing their clothes and clicking selfie. After the video went viral, the police registered a case of obscenity in public in the matter.
The viral video of the incident showed transgenders removing their clothes on Signature Bridge and dancing while passers-by watch them. The incident had also caused a long traffic jam on the bridge.
The police have tightened security on the Signature Bridge after allegations were made from some quarters that there wasn’t adequate police presence on the overpass.
Police have written to the civic authorities to install informative boards cautioning people against clicking selfies in a dangerous manner and the traffic police are issuing challans against violations.
