Two school teachers succumbed to sunstroke while engaged in Census duties in Odisha, bringing to light the hazardous conditions under which field workers operate.
The victims, Rajkapur Hembram from Mayurbhanj and Anurag Ekka from Sundargarh, reported discomfort during their assignments owing to oppressive temperatures.
These incidents underscore the pressing need for stringent adherence to safety protocols, as enforced by state authorities, to prevent further tragedies.
