OJEE 2026 Exam Day Guidelines:The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2026 is being conducted from May 4 to May 10, 2026 in computer-based mode across multiple centres in India. The candidates who take the exam must follow the official OJEE Cell exam day instructions because any violation will result in their disqualification from the exam.
OJEE 2026 Reporting Time & Entry Rules
The candidates need to verify their specific reporting time because their reporting time depends on their examination shift and academic program.
Shift 1 OJEE exam will begin at 9:00 AM, so the candidates should reach the centre maximum by 8:00 AM. The gates will close at 8:30 AM. Check below to know the OJEE shift timing and schedule for MBA and other courses:
- The candidates must arrive at the examination centre 60 minutes before the scheduled start time for security checks and identification verification.
- The candidates must enter the venue before the gate closing time which appears on their admission ticket because entry after that time will be not permitted.
- The entry process will begin with biometric verification followed by identification checks.
Documents to Carry for OJEE 2026
The candidates must bring these essential documents with them:
- OJEE 2026 Admit Card (2 printed copies)
- Valid Photo ID Proof (Original): Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID / Passport / Driving Licence
- Passport-size Photograph (same as uploaded in application)
- The PwD certificate and scribe form must be presented by candidates who meet the eligibility requirements.
Items Strictly Prohibited Inside Exam Hall
The candidates need to refrain from bringing these specific items into the examination hall:
- Candidates must not bring mobile phones smartwatches calculators into the examination hall.
- Candidates must not bring Bluetooth devices earphones into the examination hall.
- The candidates are not permitted to bring any study materials which include books notes papers into the examination area.
- Candidates must not bring bags or large wallets or electronic devices into the testing area.
- Do not take any metallic items and personal items.
The examination authorities ban these items to maintain examination integrity and their presence will be detected during the security checks.

OJEE 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: Dress Code
There is no required official dress code for candidates but they should dress in simple and comfortable clothing. Avoid wearing heavy jewellery, accessories and metal items. Select light footwear which includes sandals and slippers. Do not wear clothes that have multiple pockets and metallic elements.
Important Exam Day Instructions
- The candidate needs to bring two copies of the admit card because the invigilator will keep one copy.
- The candidate must ensure that their photograph is properly affixed on the admit card.
- The candidate must follow all hall ticket instructions without any exceptions.
- Any attempt to use unfair methods will result in immediate disciplinary action.
- Candidates must sit only at their designated system and seat.
