Nargis Fakhri, who made her Bollywood debut with Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar opposite actor Ranbir Kapoor in 2011, has talked about her struggle many a times. In a recently surfaced video, from 12 years ago, Nargis can be seen auditioning for the hit American reality television series ‘America’s Next Top Model’.
A model-turned-actor Nargis oozes confidence and charm in her interviews and isn’t one to mince her words. Back in 2004, this now confident lady was a novice when she auditioned for the show.
The video shows a young Nargis trying to impress the judges with her confidence, despite fumbling with her words in the beginning. Though her reply when asked why she wanted to be a model, calling it ‘just a job’, didn’t impress the judges, they did find her body great. Nargis did manage to enter the show but eventually got eliminated in Cycle 3. In the video, she even revealed that she had participated in the hit reality show before, but got evicted in the semi-final round.
