Actor Anil Kapoor recently penned down a heartbreaking note for sister-in-law Sridevi on her 56th birth anniversary which is marked today on August 13. The legendary actress died last year in February.
Anil Kapoor wrote, “Today is a bittersweet day as we celebrate you on what would have been your 56th Birthday…We feel the sadness of your loss deeply, but remembering your smile and the joy you brought to all our lives unites us in your memory…We miss you everyday.”

Sridevi died in a tragic case of accidental drowning in her suite at Jumeirah Emirates Tower Hotel in Dubai on February 24. She had gone to attend the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah.
The actress had acted in over 300 films in her career, her most popular films being Chandni, Nagina, Mr India, Chaalbaaz, Solva Salwan.
After 15 years, Sridevi made a comeback in Gauri Shinde’s film English Vinglish in 2012, which did well at the box office. For her contribution to Indian cinema over the years, Sridevi was awarded Padma Shri in 2013.
Sridevi’s last film was MOM (2017) for which she was given National Award posthumously for her performance in the film.
