OnePlus Ace 3 Set for China Debut: OnePlus finally announced the launch date for the OnePlus Ace 3 earlier today. The company said today that the OnePlus Ace 3 will go on sale in China on January 4. The device was seen on the China Telecom website a few days ago, so we already know its specs and possibly how much it will cost in stores. It also made it to Geekbench today, a few days before it goes on sale next month. The Geekbench description shows the phone’s most important tech specs.
The same smartphone, called the OnePlus 12R, is also set to come out on the world market. OnePlus said a few days ago that the device would be released on January 23 in India and around the world along with the OnePlus 12.

The OnePlus Ace 3 will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which can be seen on Geekbench. The test result shows that the phone will come with up to 16GB of RAM and run Android 14 right out of the box. Additionally to the 16GB RAM version, the device should also come in a 12GB RAM version. It’s possible that the smartphone will come with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage.

A 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz response rate are some of the other features that the device is said to have. It is believed that the device will have three cameras for taking pictures. There could be a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP closeup sensor in the camera section. The major features of the device are a 16MP front-facing camera, a fingerprint reader built into the screen, a 5,000mAh battery, and support for 100W fast charge.
The OnePlus Ace 3’s base model could cost CNY 3299 (Roughly Rs 39,500) and come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The 16GB RAM model with 512GB/1TB of internal storage could cost CNY 3699 (Roughly Rs 44,200) and CNY 3999 (Roughly Rs 48,000). Based on the sample that the company gave, the phone should come out in Gold, Blue, and Black. The gadget might be sold in China starting on January 31.
