Have some good news for you all: The OnePlus TV is not very far away, at least according to one source. The launch might be soon, so stay tuned. I have very high expectations from it, what about you? #OnePlus #OnePlusTV ? pic.twitter.com/qzCJnfozi4

The leakster also mentioned that OnePlus’s upcoming Television won’t be coming with OLED panel as they are used by all premium TV manufacturers and the company would be looking to keep the prices very competitive. It will be surprising, if OnePlus launches the TV with an OLED screen.
But since I don’t think it will be OLED, I would personally not buy it. I just love how good my LG C8 OLED is and the next TV coming to my home has to be OLED. I still think that in case you are looking for Premium TVs- Sony and LG are the best ones.

Moreover, OnePlus India’s General Manager, Vikas Agarwal has confirmed the launch of OnePlus TV at the launch event of OnePlus 7. He mentioned that, “OnePlus TV is our next focus for the Indian market.”
However, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau was quoted as saying that the OnePlus TV won’t launch before 2020. “I dream about a time when technology is truly seamless, an effortless part of your life without being the focus. As other consumer electronics have evolved and improved our lives, televisions have remained conventional and cumbersome,” said Lau.
As majority of the details about OnePlus TV still remains under wrap, it is speculated that the forthcoming Television might come with a 4K display with HDR and an in-house AI-assistant similar to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, only with a more visual element.
