Oppo PUBG Mobile India Series 2019: Grand Finale on March 10, rewards and other details

Sponsored by Oppo, PUBG Corp and Tencent Games have teamed up to announce Oppo PUBG Moblie India Series 2019 on January 10 this year. With the support of the Telangana Government, the Grand Finals of the PUBG Mobile India Series 2019 is all set to take place on the 10th of March 2019 at GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad.

The announcement also revealed that this tournament will have “one of the biggest prize-pool” of Rs 1 Crore in eSports industry in India.

There are four phases in which the tournament is divided. The first phase was the registrations phase which was started on January 10 and ended on January 23. The second phase which began from January 21 to January 28, includes the In-Game qualifier where squads took part in the qualifier to move to the next level. The third phase took place from February 9 to February 24 where 2,000 teams from across the country battled online in the playoffs.

The last phase will be the Grand Finals that will be held on March 10, 2019, at GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. Apart from the winners, individual valour and talent will also be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 50,000 in the grand finals. PUBG Mobile will also give away cash for all the teams that manage to be in the top-10 list.

Here is the list of various categories to be rewarded in the grand finals:

• MVP Award – Awarded to the player with maximum number of MVP
• The Exterminators – Awarded to the team with maximum kills
• The Healers – Awarded to the team with the highest number of revives
• The Redeemer – Awarded to the player with the highest amount of health restored
• The Lone Ranger – Awarded to the player with the maximum survival time
• The Rampage Freak – Awarded to the player for the maximum number of kills in one game.
