Pathaan Box Office Day 3: Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has broken all box office records by becoming the most successful Hindi opening of all time. The film, which was released on January 25, has surpassed SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 at the box office in just three days, according to early estimates.
As per trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the film has collected Rs 300 crore worldwide in the first three days. “#Pathaan crosses ₹ 300 Crs Gross at the WW Box office in 3 days.. 🔥” he shared on Twitter.
Pinkvilla reports that the film grossed over Rs 35 crores net on its second day, a drop of less than 50 percent from its opening day. Pathaan reportedly broke the weekend records previously held by Baahubali 2 (Rs. 127 cr net) and KGF 2 with a three-day total of approximately Rs. 160 cr net (Rs. 140 cr nett).
On its opening day, the film, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, grossed more than Rs 55 crore, breaking the record set by Yash’s KGF 2 (Hindi), which had grossed Rs 53.95 crore. Pathaan’s opening day gross at the box office was Rs 57 crore (net) (Hindi: Rs 55 crore and dubbed versions Rs 2 crore). On day 2, the film grossed over Rs 68 crores.
Pathaan is a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and features the country’s biggest stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. In addition to them, Salman Khan makes a cameo in the film. Pathaan is also the most recent addition to the spy universe of Yash Raj Films. Tiger Zinda Hai and War are the other movies in this genre.
