Audience Response and Reception
The film came out to mixed yet mostly positive reviews, with viewers going on about the comic timing and that sort of easy chemistry between the main cast. People on social media were loud about Ayushmann Khurrana’s performance, and Sara Ali Khan’s screen presence too, kind of like they kept mentioning her a lot more than usual.

But still, the sequel keeps getting compared to the 2019 blockbuster version, especially when it comes to opening numbers and how much it actually pulls the crowd.
Can Pati Patni Aur Woh Do reach ₹50 crore?
Industry trackers feel the movie will have to hold up well during weekdays and also get favorable word-of-mouth to even think about joining the ₹50 crore club in India. If collections stay reasonably steady through the week, the second weekend might end up giving it that extra nudge.
For now though, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has already crossed the key ₹20 crore milestone in just four days, even though Monday collections did show that usual, expected slowdown.
