Bihar Police were in for a shocker when a Patna-based con man ran his operations in the heart of the capital city, disguised as a woman!
Born a male, Avinash a.k.a Goldi dressed like a woman to run his multi-purpose racket. He adopted a new name, Monica to suit his ‘change’ and wore a variety of saris, bindis, fashionable jewelleries and applied glossy lipsticks.
The conman was running a fake document racket before he was apprehended by Patna SSP Manu Maharaj. The police were tipped off from a person with Avinash’s photo, who alleged that the conman was now running operations as a woman.
Police recovered five bottles of liquor, Rs 10,000 cash, a password protected computer, a colour printer, seals of government officials and several other documents from Avinash’s office. Photographs of Avinash dressed as Monica and several video clips of homosexual pornography in his mobile phone were also seized.
When questioned as to how he came upon this idea, Avinash said that he was inspired by a man who was dressed up as a woman to offer prayers to Tirupati Balaji.
