A public Interest litigation (PIL) has been filed in front of the Delhi high court for removal of Covid-19 awareness caller tune which had been imposed so that every Indian national is aware about the deadly virus and how and where should they call and inform the other required authorities if someone has tested positive for the virus.
The petition filed by Rakesh reads as- It is ..most respectfully prayed that kindly be pleased to remove the caller tune of Mr Amitabh Bachchan of corona from the mobile in the interest of justice.”
As per the petitioner Amitabh Bachchan is not suitable for the callertune awareness as he charges money for the same. The PIL also states that the government of India is paying such actors on the pretext of covid-19 to Amitabh Bachchan who is changing the preventive measure.
The PIL also stated that there are many other covid warriors who have distributed there hard earned money and made further contributions to fight covid-19 so why should only Amitabh Bachchan the big b be accredited.
The petitioner furthermore in his public interest litigation stated that after even his Covid 19 precautionary measures he and his family all tested positive for covid-19 so why should he be only getting credits when there are more. The petition has been filed through Advocates AK Dubey and Pawan Kumar and will be heard on January 18.
