Pixel Watch 4: Google is all set to show its new Pixel Watch 4 on August 20, right along with the next Pixel 10 smartphones. The company has not said anything officially yet, but famous tipster Evan Blass has already leaked clear images showing how the watch looks, the colors, and some big features.
The Pixel Watch 4 will come in two case sizes, 41mm and 45mm, and it will look a lot like last year’s version. The big change is that the charging pins are now placed on the side. Google is still using PIN charging instead of wireless docks, but the speed of charging is said to be better this time.

Better Display
The watch is expected to have Google’s Actua 360 display that can go as bright as 3,000 nits, making it easier to see even in strong sunlight. It will have more than 40 exercise modes for people who are into fitness.
Battery Life
The smaller 41mm version is expected to last up to 30 hours on one charge, and the bigger one can go up to 40 hours, even if you keep the always-on display turned on. Charging will be 25% faster than the Pixel Watch 3, so it should be quicker to top up. Google is adding dual-frequency GPS for more accurate location tracking, along with ECG, blood oxygen level checks, breathing rate, and heart rate variability.
Fitness Features
One of the standout new things is a safety feature that will contact emergency services if your pulse drops suddenly. For the LTE version, Google will also give two years of free Google Fi data, which will help people who want to leave their phone at home while running or exercising.

Release Dates
Even though the Pixel Watch 4 will be shown in August, people won’t be able to buy it right away. Reports say it will only be in stores from October 9, which might be because of supply chain delays. Other Google devices like the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Pixel Buds 2a will also come later in the same timeline. But the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL will ship by late August.
This year’s Pixel 10 phones will have the new Tensor G5 chip built on TSMC’s 3nm process, which should make them faster and more efficient than the Pixel 9 series. More details will be out on August 20 when Google finally makes everything official.
