PM Internship Scheme: The government of India created the PM Internship Scheme 2024 to give young people more job opportunities and give them more power. This project, which is being led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, tries to connect what people learn in school with what they do in the real world.
The slogan for the program is “Empowering India’s Youth for a Brighter Future.” The program gives young people great chances to get real-world experience in many different fields, which makes them more marketable when they look for work.
Internships are a great way to get real-world experience, especially in India, where millions of young people start working every year. The government has responded to this need by starting the PM Internship Yojana. It is part of larger programs for young people, such as Digital India. This plan is meant to help India reach its national goal of being self-sufficient by giving young people who want to work organized ways to get there.
According to Business standard, the Prime Minister Internship Scheme is off to a great start, with businesses providing training chances to young people surpassing the government’s initial goal of 1,25,000 within two weeks of the program’s official inauguration. On December 2, the internships are scheduled to start.
Concerning the PM Internship Program
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman talked about the PM Internship Scheme in her budget speech on July 23. It began on October 3 and was publicly launched on August 24. The program will have two parts that will run over five years. The goal is to train 10 million young people.
At least half of the 12-month internships will be spent on hands-on work experience. This will make sure that trainees learn useful skills that they can use right away in the real world.
