Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi while speaking in the Lok Sabha.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emerged as an icon and set an example in the world,” Adityanath said in his speech before submitting his resignation from the lower House of Parliament.

Taking dig at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, UP Chief Minister said “Don’t go by my age, I am a year younger to Rahul Gandhi and a year older to former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav. I have come in between Rahul and Akhilesh jodi, this could be the one of the reasons of their failure.”
“I invite you all to Uttar Pradesh. It will be a state free of law and order, goondagardi, it will be a state free from corruption. We will not allow communal flare in the state,” he said.
Earlier, this morning, Yogi Adityanath met the Prime Minister, BJP Chief Amit Shah and also President Pranab Mukherjee.
