Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday with a purpose to lay the foundation stone for an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and an Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) along with inaugurating a steel plant. Modi will lay the foundation stone for the AIIMS at Bilaspur.
The 750-bed hospital is to be built at a cost of about Rs 1350 crore. The top hospital will facilitate healthcare, medical education at the undergraduate and post-graduate level and nursing.
The prime minister will also lay the foundation stone for an IIIT at Una. Besides, PM will also inaugurate a Steel Processing Unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), at Kandrori in Kangra.
After that, he will later address a public meeting.
