Pokemon Go Raid Battle 'Ready' Button Release Date

Pokemon Go Raid Battle ‘Ready’ Button Release Date: Niantic has revealed when the eagerly-anticipated “Ready” icon will become available during Raid Battles in Pokemon Go.

Since the introduction of Pokemon Go Raid Battles in 2017, players have requested the inclusion of a “Ready” icon in the lobby. The majority of players enter a Raid within 20 to 30 seconds, and they must typically wait at least 90 to 80 seconds before they can begin battling the Raid Boss Pokémon, leaving them frequently frustrated.

Niantic began testing the “Ready” button feature at the start of 2023, much to the delight of fans worldwide, and the feature is now ready to be carried out globally.

In an official blog post highlighting the final details for Go Fest 2023, Niantic revealed that the “Ready” button for Raid Battles will be rolled out to players around the globe on August 26, 2023, the date of the Go Fest event.

The message stated, “Trainers across the globe can now initiate Raid Battles more rapidly by using the Ready button! Simply select the button in the raid lobby when you are prepared to begin. When all Trainers indicate readiness, the lobby timer will begin counting down from 10 seconds.”

However, it appears that this feature will only be accessible in multi-player Raids. Those who wish to execute a one- or three-star Raid must wait in the lobby for the standard 110-second duration. Therefore, you must add at least one more participant to the lobby in order to access the “Ready” button and reduce the timer to 10 seconds.

You should also be aware that the timer will automatically be set to 10 seconds in the lobby of Legendary or Mega Raid Battles, where there are typically 20 participants. This is a much-anticipated quality-of-life update that has been anticipated by participants for nearly five years.

In addition to this new feature, Pokemon Go also revealed additional details about Go Fest Global 2023, such as the Ultra Unlock challenges and the durations of the various event habitats.
