PM announces India’s anti-satellite missile system, Mission Shakti.
An anti-satellite weapon A-SAT, successfully targeted a live satellite on a low earth orbit, announces PM Modi.
“’Mission Shakti’ operation was a difficult target to achieve which was completed successfully within three minutes of launch,” he said. PM Modi asserted that the use of the anti-satellite weapon is not against any nation and meets all international standards.
PM Modi counts India’s achievement in the field of Space technology.
